"Literacy in itself isn't education" ~ Mahatama Gandhi

Education isn't guaranteed to books and facts but on the far side of that. Educating the mind, body, and soul includes diligence and self-possession.

According to Gandhi, education is about realizing the best in a man's body, soul, and spirit. He believed that ethics and morality should form the foundation of education.

While skill solely provides the ability to browse and write, it's not just as valuable and required as education. Education means drawing out the most effective within the kid and man. It means the protection from violence, the sharpness of the mind, and consequently, the development and rousing of the soul. The understanding of education is crucial nowadays. Education is the most efficient way to contribute to individual and social development. Education conjointly develops a culture within the heart and hand.

For Gandhi, education was the sole means that to rework the village youngsters into model villagers. It developed the body and mind and kept the child rooted to the soil with a glorious vision of the future.

This basic education principle is known as Nai Talim by Gandhi, through which he states that knowledge and work aren't separate.

The Nai Talim promotes the self-independent scheme, preparation for the real world, fundamental curricular, and other great ideas.

The preparation for the real-world theme was a distinct approach that we tend to cannot reach through book education. Our nation could be a nation of villages. In primary education, education for rural work- farming and breeding placental, etc., and rural handicrafts- gather and knitting was created obligatory for kids.

It is the need of the hour to observe without evaluating. It is high time we train the mind to think. That is the true meaning of holistic education.
